Question:
I know this will fit the standard WRX but I have the 2008 WRX with the upgraded SPT oem cat back from them. Do you know if there any fitting issues?

Trailer hitches including Curt hitch # C11315 are designed and tested on stock vehicles. Even though the exhaust on your 2008 Subaru Impreza is from the factory it could be considered an option which isn't tested for.
If it is the same exhaust that is on the STi models then none of the hitches will fit. There is not a lot of space available so if the exhaust you have is larger than the normal exhaust the hitches will not fit.
