Flat Towing a Ford F-450

Question:
Seeking Advice on Flat Towing a Ford F450 DRW I’m wondering if anyone has experience flat towing a Ford F350 DRW or F450 DRW using a Blue Ox or a comparable towing system. From what I understand, the F350 and F450 front ends are similar in terms of mounting a base plate. However, Blue Ox specifies that they do not manufacture a base plate for the F450 due to its significantly higher GVWR compared to the F350. That said, the curb weight difference between the two models is only about 600 pounds. It seems that the gross vehicle weight rating may be the main concern here. I’m planning to flat tow my Ford F450 behind my 2022 Newmar Superstar 4065 and would appreciate insights from anyone who has successfully done this or has alternative solutions. Hey Jim! We can only go off of the guidance of Roadmaster, Demco, and Blue Ox when it comes to flat towing set ups. I reached out to all three and no one has any parts designed for or experience in flat towing a F-450. I do not have a solution for you.
