Hey Keith,
Ground clearance can definitely be an issue when adding on a second hitch to your F-150, like the Curt # C26HR. If you don't currently have a hitch and are adding one like the etrailer # e63TR then you have a little less to worry about. Using the front mounting hole and measuring down to the top of the receiver tube on the # e63TR will get you approximately 7" and for the # C26HR you'll get 10". you can add another 2" to get to the bottom of the receiver tube if you're wanting to measure from the mounting hole in your frame.
Are you adding a second hitch or do you not have one and trying to add one now?

Hey Keith, what did you end up deciding for your F-150—did the Curt or the etrailer hitch give you better ground clearance? Knowing which setup worked best could really help others comparing the same options.
