Installing Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner on 1960's Airstream Trailer

Question:
From the manual Roof Thickness The installation of air conditioner suits for roof thickness from 3.5” 90mm to 6” 152mm. For other thickness, please contact Furrion or Furrion authorized service agent. Can you please go over what is needed to install this in a 1960s or later Airstream trailer with an existing non-vented AC? Thanks,

Hello again Peter; the Furrion Chill Cube RV Air Conditioner # LC22BX will fit in the existing 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" opening from your old AC. If you have smaller dimensions you will have to enlarge the opening to match. Regarding the roof thickness, if you don't meet these requirements you can add in wood or other material around the opening to make it thick enough for installation. You will need to follow the wiring diagrams and instructions from the manual to connect the power.
