Looking For Replacement For 1998 Kwikee 909513 Control Module Series 40

Question:
I have a 1998 Kwikee 909513 Control Module Series 40 in need of replacement. I noticed you recommend Kwikee/Lippert P/N: LC379606. My question is will this work, I can see that the wire harness is different is not the same as whats coming from the step.

Hello Mike, thanks for reaching out. The Replacement Control Unit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379606 is the correct replacement for the 909513 Control Module. We have had A LOT of customers successfully use the # LC379606 as a replacement, since the 909513 was quite common back in the day. I do not have a wiring diagram or anything like that showing exactly how to connect but all of the wires on the new controller will be labeled so as long as they are wired correctly it will work for you.

Ok, wanted to ensure this would work pre-1999 and with the 40 series. So your recommending to bypass the harness and direct wire everything? Thanks,
