Recommended Cover for a 2023 Lance 2285 Travel Trailer

Question:

Our Lance travel trailer model 2285 has acrylic windows. 2023 model year.. We would like to purchase a cover for winter storage. Our neighbor has a similar Lance with acrylic windows and they were scratched when the wind blew, even though they had the straps secured around the trailer cover. Could you please suggest a cover that will safely work on our new trailer? Thanh you!

Hey Liz! I checked online and it looks like the box of your 2023 Lance 2285 Travel Trailer measures 22-1/2' long x 8' wide. The best cover for your trailer is going to be the Adco Olefin HD RV Cover for Travel Trailers up to 24' item # AD67ZR.

Thank you so much for getting back to me so quickly, and for your precise information. That sounds like the cover we need. I want to measure the trailer one more time to be sure the ladder and hitch on back will fit in the 24 foot cover. I measured roughly 25 feet with those included. Is it best to have a bit of wiggle room to make putting it on easier? Again, thank you very much—I appreciate your help and that you looked up the details of our trailer. @Liz You're welcome Liz! Happy to help! Thanks for measuring and providing that information. You are going to want to go with a larger cover. The Adco SFS AquaShed RV Cover item # 290-52243 is the next size up and it will work perfectly with your 25' trailer. Think fitted sheet but on a much larger level. You're going to want a little bit of slack to install the cover. The straps will tie down any excess.
