Fan for Freezer Inside Everchill Refrigerator

Question:
I ordered the Valterra A10-2618 VP fan kit! Does this fan replace the fan that is mounted in the freezer compartment on the EverChill 10 cubic foot refrigerator/freezer? Or is this an optional fan to be installed on the outside of the unit for blowing across the condenser on the outside of the unit?

Great question Kenneth. The part that you ordered Valterra FridgeCool Automatic Exhaust Fan for RV Refrigerators - 12 Volt # A10-2618VP is more of a universal exhaust fan. So, yes it is an optional fan that would help move the hot air from your fridge toward the vent in your RV. This fan will not replace the fan that is installed inside the freezer compartment. I recommend reaching out to Everchill directly as we do not have that fan as a replacement part.
