Hi Gerald,

The Rhino-Rack Vortex Crossbars for Retrax XR and Mountain Top EVO-M Tonneau Covers # RRVA180B-RRRLT600 can be made to be compatible with the Pace Edwards UltraGroove Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover # 311-KRCA27A58 by swapping out the square nuts included with the kit for the # RRT-FK1, which is confirmed to fit the Ultragroove t-slots.

@Gerald Based on your criteria you're down to comparing the Pace Edwards UltraGroove # 311-KRCA27A58 and JackRabbit w Explorer Rails # 311-JECA27A58. The two main differences between these two covers is how they sit on the bed and lock. The Ultragroove has a low profile so it will sit above the bedrails while the Jackrabbit would sit inside the bedrails for a flush profile. The JackRabbit has a lock built into the end slant to lock the cover at each 12" interval of the rails, whereas the Ultragroove doesn't so it can only be locked by fully closing it and closing/locking the tailgate. Aside from that there's some minor cosmetic differences. If I had to choose between the two I'd go with the JackRabbit for the low profile look and locking mechanism.

@KevinC Last question. If I go with the pace Edwards jackrabbit and the rhino rack vortex xr. Do I need the square nuts you mentioned in the first email? I am going with these parts just want to make sure I have everything in one order. Again thanks for all you time and information
