Are Replacement Schwintek Slide-Out System Torque Shafts Sold Separately

Question:
Im rebuilding a schwintek slide..I have located tracks..which was the only thing I really needed..they have been changed requiring new bearing blocks..they are ordered..heres my problem...I would like to replace the drive shaft,rod as it is wore a little where it passes through the bearing block..I have not been able to find..can you help..schwintek dual rack slide

Hey Kevin,
The part you're looking for is called the 'Torque Shaft', which unfortunately is not sold separately. I reached out to Lippert to see if they could just send one out and they stated if the torque shaft is needing replacement then the entire Schwintek Slide-Out system would need to be replaced. That's obviously a HUGE expense so I would try reaching out to them too to see if there's any alternative route you could take to get your system back up and running without having to fully replace it.
