LaSalle Bristol RV Sewer - Waste Valves - 34466N11AB96GMA Review

Today, we're going to take a look at the LaSalle Bristol RV waste valve. This is going to have a one and a half inch diameter, and it fits bigot to hub, and it's going to have a 96 inch cable. Now, this is going to replace the valve for RV's gray water tank. The one and a half diameter passage is going to allow that waste water to travel freely when the valve is open. The hub slides into the sewer pipe and the six bigot slides into the sewer pipe as well. It's going to have that 96 inch cable to allow you to mount the handle wherever you want, whether that's in a secure location or some spot that's a little harder to reach, so that it doesn't get accidentally pulled. Now, again, we're going to have 96 inches of cable to work with, so you can have a lot of flexibility there.

The cable itself is really flexible, but the instructions tell you to be sure to mount this with a couple things in mind. You don't want to have it looped. I have it looped here just so that you can see everything all at once, but you wouldn't want to have it looped like this. You'd want to have it either going in a nice easy U-shape, and then going straight, or you'd want to have it go in sort of a 90 degree soft bend, or in a gentle S-curve, but you definitely don't want to have it kinked, or looped, or unsecured. You'll want to have this secured at a couple points along the way to make sure that this cable can't flap around.Basically, if we pull the handle, and again I just have it looped here so you can see it because it is a pretty long cable, but if we pull that handle, you can see our valve opens up there.

It's going to have a non-stick coating to help that seal easily open and close, so you can see there. Now, this is NSF approved and you will need some ABS solvent cement to install this. If you don't have any, you can pick some up here at etrailer.com using part number A05-0303.As far as the dimensions again, 96 inch cable. The inner diameter on the hub side is going to be about an inch and a half. The outer diameter is going to be about an inch and seven eighths, so just under two inches.

If we flip it over to the other side, the inner diameter is going to be an inch and seven eighths, and then the outer diameter is going to be about two and a quarter of an inch. The overall height of our bracket here is going to be about 10 inches or 10 and a half inches going from the top to the end. And, that's going to do it for our look at the LaSalle Bristol RV waste valve.
