Hi Michael; the Curt # C56324 will only fit the coupe so you cannot use it on your 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback. Nobody makes a plug and play wiring harness for the hatchback models so you will have to use the # C59236.
If you really don't want to splice anything you can use the ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT which clamps onto the wires. Personally, I would save the money and use the Curt with the quick splices.
