Microwave for 12-1/2" x 26" Cut Out

Updated 12/22/2025 | Published 10/05/2024

Question:

I have a small kitchen with a 12 1/2 wide, 26” wide cut out for a microwave. Do you have an option that will work? Thanks! Doreen Brasseaux

Hi Doreen; none of our microwaves require a cutout that wide and they will all require a taller cutout. However, you may still be able to use a microwave like the Furrion Built-In RV Microwave # FMSN09BL you were looking at.

This requires a cut out that is 20-1/4" wide x 13-7/8" tall x 14-5/8" deep. I'm assuming the 12-1/2" measurement is the height so you would need to enlarge it slightly if possible to match the 13-7/8" measurement. If you want you can add the trim kit # FMSM09BLTK which will be 23-1/2" wide x 15" tall on the face so you will have to fill in a little space on the sides but it won't be as much.

Hi Doreen, how did things turn out with the Furrion microwave and trim kit for your kitchen cutout? Were you able to adjust the opening to make it fit? Your update could make it easier for the next person working with a similar space.
