Do you need metal valve stem or will they work with rubber valve stems?

Metal valve stems aren't needed, you can use the iN-Command TPMS for RVs, Trailers, and Vehicles - Bluetooth - 2 Waterproof Tire Sensors # NCTP1002 with rubber valve stems without issue.
