Does this mirror fits frame up to 7/8inch or 1 1/4inch wide tubing? There is a conflict in the descriptions and specs. Please verify. Thx.

I spoke to my contact at CIPA and he said the Comp II Rearview Boat Mirror # CM11081 has an aluminum bracket that accommodates round or square windshield frames measuring from 1/2 inch to 7/8 of an inch.
