Is There an EcoHitch that Fits 2014 BMW X5 with Backup Sensors

Question:
I want to install an EcoHitch on my 2014 BMW X5. One concern: what does etrailer.com mean when the description for this hitch says Designed for use on vehicles without a backup sensor? My X5 has front and rear backup sensors. Will they no longer work if I install this hitch? What else? Thanks

We have a version of the EcoHitch that fits your 2014 BMW X5 that was designed for versions of the vehicle that have the backup sensors with part # EH44FR. This would be your best option and gives you ability to remove lower hitch opening when not towing for a totally hidden look.

Hey, how did the EcoHitch work out on your BMW X5 with the backup sensors? It’d be great to know if the hidden design gave you the clean look you wanted. Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup.
