Are Aries Oval Nerf Bars a Newer Design for 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie Crew Cab
Updated 01/05/2026 | Published 09/24/2024 >
Question:
Are these nerf bars newer in release? I like the look and prefer the gloss finish to match my wheels, but I cant seem to find reviews on this particular set anywhere and that makes me a little nervous as Id like to know others have at least bought them. Id be putting them on a 2021 Ram 1500 Laramie crew cab. Thanks for any info you can provide in regards to quality and corrosion durability in MN winters.

Hi Chad; the Aries Oval Nerf Bars # AA53ZB are a newer design and we have definitely sold these. However, reviews are spread out depending on the mounting kits for different vehicles. Taking this into account, we still don't have a lot of reviews and they're primarily 5 stars with no useful comments added.
I looked around to see if some other sites had reviews and at least one listed a substantial amount. The primary response was equivalent to "looks great, easy installation." I would expect them to hold up pretty well in the winter since they have an aluminum construction with the powder coat finish. However, I would still make sure to keep them rinsed, just like your vehicle, since Minnesota can be pretty rough on any vehicle component.

Hey Chad, how did those Aries Oval Nerf Bars end up working on your Ram 1500 through the winter? It’d be great to hear how the finish and corrosion resistance held up in the Minnesota weather. Your update could make it easier for others deciding on the same bars.
