What Are The 2 Wires On The SeeLeveL Sensor SE78VR For?

Can you tell me what the two leads do? I would like to connect to this with an ESP8266 not your monitor. Eric

Hello Eric. For the SeeLeveL Sensor for RV Holding Tank Monitor # SE78VR, the blue wire is for the tank sender signal and the black is for ground. As long as they are wired correctly, they will work with any monitor including your ESP8266.

@Eric Power is carried thru the blue signal wire. They need 12v power to operate. Take a look at the installation instructions in the link below: https://www.garnetinstruments.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/709-RVC-NLP-Manual_v7.1.pdf
