Can you tell me what the two leads do? I would like to connect to this with an ESP8266 not your monitor. Eric

Hello Eric. For the SeeLeveL Sensor for RV Holding Tank Monitor # SE78VR, the blue wire is for the tank sender signal and the black is for ground. As long as they are wired correctly, they will work with any monitor including your ESP8266.

Thank you Jesse. How does it get power? And what voltage does it need to be powered with?
