Will Air Bag Kit Have Better Ride Quality than TImbren Kit for 2007 Dodge Ram 2500
Updated 01/12/2026 | Published 09/17/2024 >
Question:
I currently have Timbren suspension bumpers bought from you on my 2007 Dodge 2500 with Cummins diesel. The stock gvwr is not very high due to the weight of the diesel and the Timbrens have helped with that but rough roads with my heavy hitch toy hauler are beating me up. Will the ride quality of the air bags be better than the Timbrens?

Hey Robert, yes in general air bag kits like the Firestone part # F2398 are better in terms of ride quality than Timbrens which are known to be harsh. With the air bag kit you have the ability to dial in exactly how much additional support you want so this allows you the best possible blend of support and ride quality.
