Can Malone J-Pro2 Kayak Roof Rack Fit OEM Crossbars of 2023 Subaru Outback Limited
Updated 01/12/2026 | Published 09/12/2024 >
Question:
I have a 2023 Subaru Outback Limited 2.5. It has the standard roof rack with the swing out crossbars. Will the Malone j pro 2 fit on these crossbars or can you recommend a kayak carrier that will fit the factory crossbars? Im really trying to avoid the expense of The Yakima Landing Pad, Skyline towers, and Jetstream bars. Thanks.

Hey James, the Malone Kayak Carrier part # MPG117MD that you referenced is designed to fit OEM crossbars like what you have on your 2023 Subaru Outbackc so it would work well for you without requiring an aftermarket roof rack.
