Updated 12/29/2024 | Published 09/04/2024

Question:

Hi Jared, I got a moment to measure my springs with the trailer jacked up They are 29 inches long. They are a slipper spring with the flat end not the curved end. They are 2 inches wide. And measure from the eye to the center bolt 14 inches from the flat at the rear of the spring to the center bolt is 15 inches. There are six leafs in the pack and they are 9000 pound Dexter axles with a GVW of 20,000 pounds on the trailer.

Hey Rich, thanks so much for getting back to me! The Dexter 6-Leaf Slipper Spring item # DX83QR you were looking at is going to be our closest option for those measurements you provided. They're a bit longer on the back end, as these are 30" long, but the eye bolt to center measurement is the same.

When I watch the video on your DX 83QR dexter leaf springs Steve, who is in the video said the length from front to back is 30 inches long but in the description under specifications, it says 30 inches long from the center of the eye to the Rear of the flat and slippery spring, which is correct i’m measuring 30 inches total length but 29 from the center of the eyebolt to the flat end of the slippers spring
