own 2023 subaru forrester wilderness. Dont know if trim model matters .? what model number hitch is correct...e 83 ZR?

Hey Mark,
The trim package can have an affect on fitment but in this case it does not so the etrailer Trailer Hitch # e83ZR is a confirmed fit. If you plan on installing this yourself then I recommend checking out Ryan's installation video below for a complete walk through.
If you plan on towing a trailer then you'll also want to pick up the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118467 so you can transfer you light signals over to the trailer.
