Brake Controller Recommendation for 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

I own a 2022 Chevy Silverado 1500 RST Z71 offroad I bought a dual axel Trailmaster boat trailer. Should I install the brake control harness that Chevy put in the glove comparment?

Hey Mike, it does sound like your trailer has brakes so it would be wise to install a brake controller so that you can operate them when towing. The harness in your glove compartment is most likely just to help wire in a controller but I have an easier solution with the part # TK52HR which plugs in under your dash and then into back of the P3 brake controller it comes with which is a super nice controller that works well and is very reliable.
