Question:
I know it says, max 1,000 pounds.. but is that the max towing capacity? I only read people here towing bikes and super light stuff. I am looking to tow a small trailer small 1 studio apt move from CT to FL.. is this even possible with this car/hitch? thnx

Yes, the Curt Hitch part # C11254 that you referenced has a 1,000 lb maximum trailer weight rating. If the trailer you plan on towing is less than 1,000 lbs and has a tongue weight of less than 100 lbs then this hitch would work well for you.
To complete your towing setup you may also be interested in the Wiring Harness Part # C59496.
Curt Ball Mount part # C45521, Hitch Ball with 1-7/8 inch diameter part # A-80, and # A-82 for a 2 inch ball may also interest you.
