Will the Surco Folding Basket Adapter # 52015 Work with a UWS Diamond Tread Carrier

Im wondering if the Surco 2inch folding adapter can be attached to an aluminum 2inch hitch carrier, specifically the UWS Diamond tread carrier? Thanks very much

You could probably modify the shank of your UWS Diamond tread carrier to fit the Surco Folding Basket Adapter, # 52015, but they will most likely not fit without some type of modification. Cargo carrier manufacturers do not test their products with products from other manufacturers and they do not design them to fit products from other manufacturers.
The shank of your carrier should fit between the two brackets on the Surco folding adapter, but you will likely have to drill new holes to match the holes in the Surco adapter.
