Will BringIt SwitchBack SOLO Down Tailgate Camera Work Without Tailgate

can i install back up camera with out my tailgate on i have a slide in truck camper i it needs to be off camera model br75zr

Hi David; the BringIt SwitchBack SOLO Down Tailgate Camera # BR75ZR can be used without a tailgate. You will need to mount the tilt sensor so the system thinks the tailgate is open for this to work. I would also cap off the unused connector with some electrical tape to keep it protected.
