Hello, I need to replace an axle on an older trailer. I included some pics of the measurements I took. Hub to hub is 89 3/4 and 75 1/4 from middle of spring to middle of spring. What do you recommend?

Hello Gabriel. We do have an axle that is very close to your specifications, the Trailer Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles # e38GR. This is a 3,500 lb capacity axle. Hub to hub it measures 89" so it is just slightly shorter. This axle has spring seats pre-welded at 74", so those will need to be removed and relocated to 75-1/4". Also please make sure the 3/4" length difference will not cause the tires to sit too close to the trailer frame.
Note that this is a round tube axle and it looks like your is square, so you will need round U-bolts, part # CE23002 for mounting. We do not offer any square axles, only round.
It looks like your hub is a 5 lug, so for that you can use the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-35-G-EZ-K. This is a 5 on 4-1/2" hub so please confirm that this is what you have.

Hey Gabriel, how did the replacement go with the round axle and new U-bolts? Were you able to get the spring seats moved to match your 75-1/4 spacing? Your update could make it easier for others working on older trailers.
