Will The The Lomax Hard Tonneau Cover LOM34NR Work With Factory Utility Rails On A 2024 Tacoma?

Will installation of this product affect the factory utility rails on my 2024 tacoma?

Hello Jim. The Lomax Hard Tonneau Cover # LOM27NR does sit partially on top of the bed rails as you can see in the picture below. There is only a small amount of overhang though so it may not actually obstruct your ability to use the utility rails. I was not able to find any good pictures of the factory utility rails though so I suggest you compare the picture below to your truck to see if anything will overlap or not.

Thanks for the description. The upper surface of the factory tie-down side rails is 1-5/8" below the top of the sides and a bare 3/8" below the top of the front bed rail. So how much depth does the tonneau cover require at each side and across the front at the cab?

@Jim The Lomax cover sits 1/2" above the bed rails and extends over the bed rail by about 1".

@Jim Ah ok. So this is not something we have an exact measurement for, and unfortunately this cover is not in stock at our warehouse so I can't go measure one. I could really only give you an estimation based on the pictures we took here in house, but nothing exact. For that exact measurement you would need to reach out to Lomax since they should have a drawing they can refence.
