Hey Carl, like most trailer tires the max temp you'd want to see out of the Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Trailer Tire # TTWPRG235R16 is about 195 degrees. Try not to exceed 158 degrees if you want max life from the tire though. To do this make sure the tire is always inflated to it's max psi when cold and be sure not to exceed the weight and speed rating.
This tire has a speed rating of 81 mph and a max weight capacity of 4,400 lbs.

Hey Carl, how have the Provider ST235/85R16 tires been holding up with those temperature limits in mind? It’d be great to know if keeping them at max psi helped manage the heat. Your experience could help others watching their tire temps on long hauls.
