Hello Rosemarie, thanks for reaching out. I have good news and bad news for you. First the good news is we do have roof rack options for your 2023 Honda Ridgeline that can be used to carry your kayak. I recommend the Rhino Rack Roof Rack # RR58RE. This is a complete roof rack system custom fit for the 2023 Ridgeline. This will allow you to use virtually any crossbar mounted kayak carrier. What I recommend is the LockRack Series-X Universal Adjustable Watersport Carrier # LR24VR just because it is so versatile and easy to use.
The bad news is you cannot safely carry a rooftop tent on top of this vehicle. Roof tents can only be used on vehicles with OEM roof rails that run front to back. It sounds like your vehicle has a naked roof without rails. This roof style requires a fit kit that clamps to the door jambs. This kind of fit kit is not strong enough to support the weight of a tent.
If your goal is to carry a tent and kayak at the same time, the only way will be to use a small trailer like the Yakima EasyRider Double Decker Trailer # Y97TR. Our video review of this tent is linked for you below. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Hey Rosemarie, how did things go with the Rhino-Rack roof rack and the LockRack carrier for your Ridgeline? Were you able to get your kayak setup working the way you wanted? Your update could make it easier for others trying to haul both a tent and kayak.
