Question:
I have a 1989 Silverado and would like to install a prodigy 2 that I have. It does have a 7 pin receptor so I would need to install that also. It was not wired for towing. What will I need to wire the brakes controller and 7 pin adapter so I can have electric brakes. I have a t for my 4 flat pin already installed. Thanks

Expert Reply:
Danny, for your 1989 Chevrolet Silverado you'll need to add the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7.
Since you already have the 4 pole tee installed, you'll just need to plug the 4 pole into this adapter and make the wire connections and you'll be good to go.
