Where Do the Carr Super Hoop Steps Install on a 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:
I have a 2015 chevy 2500 sold to me to fit truck , not sure about being so heavy duty and then the mounting process doesnt seem so secure?? Not wanting to drill holes in truck the is being held by a small bolt and screw?? Help

These steps and many other similar products including running boards and nerf bars install to the rocker panels on many different vehicles. The rocker panels are plenty strong enough for the capacity of the steps. The sheer strength and clamp force of a fully threaded in 3/8 inch bolt exceeds what a person weighs. But if you do not want to drill into the truck then you wouldn't want to install these.
