Question:
Hi, I have 2023 Toyota Land Cruiser LC300. I bought trailer harness item PZQ6160540 and plugged it into my car, but I didnt get any power to the 7-pin trailer socket Checked by voltage tester. I went to Toyota dealer but unfortunately, they dont have any idea about the trailer harness or even how it works!!. Any idea to solve this problem? Regards,

If they aren't aware of their own trailer wiring harness kits I would try a different Toyota dealer...basically they need to activate the trailer wiring circuits you have. Not something we can help with though.

Unfortunately we have only one authorized dealer in my country. Can you please explain how they can activate the trailer wiring circuit? Do you mean by reprogramming the ECU to identify the trailer socket? Regarding the installation, I did not disconnect the car battery while installing the trailer socket. Is it possible that is the reason why the ECU does not recognize the new part and It need to be reset? Best regards,
