Should Center Bolt of Road Armor Equalizer Get Swapped to Wet Bolt
Updated 01/19/2026 | Published 08/09/2024 >
Question:
I have a Keystone Cougar 23MLE, it currently has the Road Armor equalizer on it. I planning to add your wet bolt kit MR46ZR. The question is should I also replace the existing center bolt in the Road Armor equalizer? It’s the one you can see the nut on the back and the bolt head is under the sticker on the front side. Circled in photo.

Hey Paul, that's a good question but no there is no need or advantage to swap out the center bolt of your Road Armor equalizer with a wet bolt. Basically it's not possible either.

Hey Paul, how did things go with adding the wet bolt kit to your Cougar’s suspension? I’m curious if everything fit smoothly with the existing Road Armor equalizer. Your update could make it easier for the next person working on the same setup.
