Bike Rack Recommendation for 2011 Chevy Camaro SS Convertible with Curt Hitch

Hi, I ordered this hitch for my 2011 SS convertible recently, and I'd like to find an appropriate bike rack (2 hybrid pedal bikes) to go with it. I prefer a platform style rack but I wonder if there would be enough ground clearance on a car like the Camaro? Please give me a couple recommendations to look at. Thanks, Paul

Hey Paul, the Curt hitch part # C11222 that you ordered for your 2011 Chevy Camaro Convertible can carry a bike rack but you would need it to be a Class I rated bike rack. Your vehicle does have a bit lower ground clearance but nothing out of the ordinary so it shouldn't be too big of a concern.
So for a bike rack that fits this hitch and would help with ground clearance the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider part # HR200Z would be a great option as it's a platform rack like you are looking for and it has a 5 inch rise built into the shank to help get it further off the ground. It's also priced really great for how nice of a rack it is.

Hey Paul, how did the Hollywood Racks Trail Rider work out with your Camaro’s hitch and ground clearance? Your experience could point others in the right direction when choosing a platform rack for a lower car.
