Kayak Carrier Solution that Might Fit RealTree Crossbars

Question:
I have a question related to the Yakima Kayak Roof Rack system Y04083. How wide to the jaws of the clamp on rack holder open? I have a RealTree truck bed rack which is 3 and 3/4 wide and 1 and 1/2 inches tall. Can I mount the Kayak Rack to my truck bed racks? Thanks for your assistance

Hey Fank, so the bars you have are going to be too tall for the Yakima Kayak carrier part # Y04083-04082 to fit. If your crossbars have top channels an option that would work is the Rhino Rack Nautic 581 part # RR581 as this would attach directly to those channels.
