Question:

I have a 2009 Toyota highlander. Need to tow a two place jet ski trailer and have a bike rack for four bikes. What are my options. If I order from you who installs these and what should I expect to pay for install?

First, you'll need a hitch. I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III Trailer Hitch, part # 75726. You'd also need a trailer wiring harness. If your Highlander has the tow package, you'll need # 56042. If you don't have the tow package, use # 118449. Your local RV dealer or mechanic should be able to install the hitch with no problem whatsoever. Draw-Tite says the installation should take a professional no more than 50 or 60 minutes to install, so an hour to an hour and 1/2 of labor should be plenty of time to complete the install.

In order to carry four bikes and tow at the same time, a multi-purpose ball mount like part # D210 would be needed. You'll also need a trailer ball like # 63845 for a 2 inch ball or # 19260 for a 1-7/8 inch.

For a bike rack, I'd recommend the Swagman Trailhead, part # S63380. The Trailhead has all the features you want on a bike rack like padded anti-sway cradles and sturdy rubber straps to hold the bikes on the cradles. The rack also features an angled shank that provides 3 inches of rise that will give the bikes more clearance up above the top of the trailer tongue.

I have linked you to the products I mentioned, as well as to some product demonstration and install videos you might find helpful.
