Should Air Bags Be Inflated After Hooking Up RV

Updated 01/19/2026 | Published 08/04/2024

Question:

Does that go the same for hooking your RV to the truck first then inflate the bags?

Hi Guy; air bags like the # AL88289 should be filled once you hook up your RV. You will load your truck and hook up the trailer/RV then adjust the air bags as needed to get you level.

Hey Guy, how did things go once you hooked up your RV and adjusted the air bags? It’d be great to hear if that setup leveled your truck the way you wanted. Your update could make it easier for the next person working with the same air bags.
