Where Should Brake Controller Gain be Set at After Install of Nev-R-Ajust Brake Assemblies

Question:
I recently bought and installed a set of Dexter Nev R Adjust drum brake assemblys for my boat trailer. My question is, since they are self adjusting going forward, where do I set the brake controller? Thanks so much John

Hey John, that will depend on how strong the brakes grab once they are fully adjusted. So what that means is you'll probably have to set the gain higher initially and then slowly lower the gain as you apply the brakes more and more times as they will get tighter with every application.
