Hey Keven,
The PVC tubes attach the same way for both the 40" # CES47FR and 60" # CE27640 guide posts so you could swap them out. The mounting post is a bit larger for the 60" set at 39-7/8" tall whereas the 40" set only has 18" tall posts so the PVC pipes would be less supported if anything ran into them.
