Hey Jesse,
The Replacement Lock Cylinder for BOLT Toolbox Latch # BL692917 you were looking at is a replacement lock core for a BOLT toolbox and would key to a Ford key. Bolt doesn't have a tailgate lock for your F-250 but Pop & Lock does offer an electronic lock as long as you don't have the crew cab with 8' bed (the wire harness isn't long enough) with part # PAL8250. This would allow you to lock/unlock the tailgate with your key fob.
If you really just need a replacement lock core for the tailgate I would reach out to Ford directly.
