I am trying to find 2 items for my 1972 Argosy - The bottom steel step with the linkages for entering the camper - The plastic sliding door that covers the handle on the screen door

Thanks for reaching out, Jeff. I looked over a few pictures of these 1972 Argosy campers and I believe we do have some options for you.
Based on what I can see online the 1972 Argosy camper has a basic pull-out scissor step with 2 steps. it appears very similar to the Brophy Camper Scissor Steps # AS02. This Brophy step is 17" wide and is designed to work with an entry height between 18" and 23". Please do measure the width of your step, as well as the entry height to confirm fitment.
We also offer the screen door sliders. Take a look at the Screen Door Slider # 37211175. This slider is black in color and it measures 12" x 12". This is a fairly standard size, but if your camper requires something different, just let me know the size you need and I am happy to see if we have anything.
