Would this rack fit a 93 Cherokee sport 2 door with the stock rails?

Surco Safari basket # SPS4550-Y400 is designed to fit on Yakima crossbars. The Yakima crossbars are round and 1-1/8 inches in diameter. If these matches the bars on your Jeep then it will fit. There is a special adapter indicated for the 1993 Jeep Cherokee factory side rails from Surco but we do not currently carry it. But I am having it added to our site, J100, and it should be available to order within 48 hours.
You would then order the basket by itself, SPS4550, and then the mount kit.
If the Jeep does have factory crossbars that run side to side on the roof, let me know how wide they are and I can determine if there is a mount kit that will fit.
