Replacement Gasket for a 2004 Mastercraft Tandem Axle Boat Trailer

Updated 02/03/2026 | Published 07/21/2024

Question:

I have a 2004 Mastercraft tandem axle boat trailer. I believe it has the reliable “oil bath” hubs. I have one that is leaking on the backside and both leaking the job oil out as well as letting water in. Is there a gasket or something that can be replaced to fix the leak? Can you help point me in the right direction?

If you could provide me with a part number off of one of your hubs I would be more then happy to look and see if we've got a gasket, solution, or a replacement hub. I do not have any way of knowing what hub is on your boat trailer though. There's no database where I can look up a part number, Mastercraft does not post that information online, and unless you're the only owner there's a possibility it's not even the original hub.

Hey, were you able to find the part number on your Mastercraft trailer hub? Knowing what worked could help others trying to track down the right gasket or replacement hub for their setup.
