Wiring Harness For A 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid

Updated 02/04/2026 | Published 07/14/2024

Question:

Hi e-Trailer.com! I would like to purchase a trailer hitch for my car, but I am also looking for a t-connector wiring kit for the harness, and am having a hard time finding the right one. My car is a 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid. I have already added the CURT Class 1 Trailer Hitch - 2007 Honda Civic Sedan - Hybrid models Item C11391 in my cart, but am having a hard time finding the right harness. It should be this harness: Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector Item C56011. But it says excluding hybrid. Can you help find the right item? Thanks, - David

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. We do have a wiring harness for your 2007 Honda Civic Hybrid, but the Curt # C56011 you mentioned will not work with the hybrid models. Instead you will need the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT which is confirmed to fit the hybrid models. The ZCI harnesses are great because there is no cutting or splicing of the vehicles wire harness. You will find the manufacturer instructions linked below.

Hey David, how did the Tekonsha ZCI wiring harness work out with your Civic Hybrid? Your results could really help others trying to find the right harness for their hybrid models.

@JesseM I ended up splicing a wire harness to get it to work. Everything works great. Thanks
