Can 215/60-8 Tire Get Replaced with 5.7-8 on Trailer

Question:
I have a triton atv trailer that needs new tires. It currently has 215/60-8 tires. I have a set of newer 5.7-8 tires and wheels. Can I run those even though they are skinnier than the original? The tires can handle the load I use it for.

Hey Landon, yes you can go to the smaller wheel and tire size you mentioned. There wouldn't be anything to worry about in doing so.

Hey Landon, how did the switch to the 5.7-8 tires on your Triton trailer turn out? Did they handle the load as well as your old 215/60-8 tires? Your update could make it easier for others thinking about the same change.
