Is it better to use this wiring harness or the one direct from Mazda Trailer Light Adapter Harness 00008ER04 for my 2014 Mazda CX-5 AWD Grand Touring?

Hey Alex, thanks for reaching out!
The Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C56011 will have just as good of quality as the OEM one for your 2014 Mazda CX-5 so I recommend using the T-Connector. Not only will you save money on the harness, but the dealer will charge you an arm and a leg to install it. If you're willing to do the install yourself it'll take the average person about 45 minutes to install so you can save on the harness and on the installation.
Attached is an installation video for you to check out.
