Question:
I bought the Furion vision S camera for my pre wired 42foot XLR Boost toy hauler and the video feed is horrible, it freezes, lags, s signal constantly. Now my antenna is below my roofline could that be blocking the signal? Is there a taller antenna or an extension cable to relocate the antenna?when the camera works its great but the lag is very frustrating.

Hi Dennis,
There unfortunately isn't an extension or different antenna that can be connected to the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS43TASF. Sitting below the roof line can cause a bit of interference this is the most common placement on most trailers and typically isn't an issue. This system typically has issues when the camera isn't getting enough power though. Does it lag/freeze at random or when you're doing something specifically or have a certain light on?
The camera system is powered by either the reverse light circuit or in most cases the running light circuit. If the clearance lights or any other accessory on that circuit starts to pull too much the camera could lose voltage and start causing connectivity issues. If this is the case then the PWM Filter # VGR64VR could be spliced in to provide a constant 12 volts to the camera.
