Hi Vish,

The weight of the e-bike is putting too much pressure on the tilting mechanism of your Thule T2 Pro XTR Bike Rack # TH83JV, causing it to bind up. If you push up a little bit on the bike while activating the tilt latch it should relieve the pressure and allow it to tilt back up and lock in place again.

Hey Vish, did lifting up slightly on the e-bike help the tilt lever on your Thule T2 Pro XTR move more smoothly? Sharing how it worked could help others dealing with the same issue.

@BrookeM yes it worked. I also noticed it’s easier if you have light weight bike instead of e bikes ??

@VishG I bet! Some of those e-bikes get pretty hefty! So glad to hear that you're able to get it to work with Kevin's trick. Do you usually reach for your e-bike when you go for a ride or a different style?
