How Can I Gain Turning Clearance On A 32' Camper With A Leland 7921 Pin Box

I have a Leland 7921 pin box on my 32’ camper. I recently upgraded my truck, and I don’t have the turning radius I had with my old truck. Is the a pin box that would fit but is 4-6” longer? Thanks

Hello Matthew, thanks for reaching out. We do offer a replacement for your Leland 7921 pin box, the Trailair Air Ride 5th Wheel King Pin # UF35-946208. The cushioned pin box will help improve ride quality, but this is not an extended pin box so it is not going to help with the turning radius issue.
The best way to gain clearance is to use a sliding 5th wheel hitch such as the B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3775. The hitch can be slid back 12" to gain clearance for sharp turns, like when backing into a parking spot. The # BWRVK3775 I mentioned is for 2020-2024 Chevy trucks with a short bed and the OEM puck system. If you can tell me the year, make and model of your truck, and whether or not it has the OEM puck system I am happy to make a recommendation for you.
