Question:

Hello. I need advice on the purchase of a cross bar system for a 2018 Ford Edge with longitudinal flush rails. My previous system failed yesterday while traveling with two kayaks. The connecting feet pulled off the factory rails and everything was swept off the car. Thankfully, it caused no accidents. Can you recommend cross bar systems that can be trusted to stay connected to a flush rails at highway speeds? Thanks.

Hey Tim,

I recommend the Inno Aero Roof Rack for Flush Rails # IN37DR. Inno isn't as widely known yet but they offer high quality roof rack components for a more reasonable price point than the larger brands. Evangeline has done a ton of testing with roof racks over the years that she's been on our video team and she's stated that Inno is her favorite brand.
